Mogilevtseva Daria
Interdisciplinary artist
The art of the artist explores the unity and connections of man as a society and personality with the biosphere, the process of the emergence of man and his dissolution in the ecosystem without separation of body and soul. Studied the issues of personality and its boundaries in the conditions of social, religious superstructure, as well as traces of social evolution at all stages of development of individuality. This is the search for answers to the questions: why am I like this, is there a God, is there a Soul, what is the meaning of life, am I happy and where is my place in the universe. Some projects are aimed at studying the traces of our everyday life, which makes up a huge cycle in the biosphere: human activity causes the migration of energy and matter of the third kind. Observing the subtle and quiet moments of everyday life.

BIO
Mogilevtsova Daria Igorevna (born in 1983 in Leningrad), took her first photos in the 1990s with her grandfather’s film camera. In 1997, she received her first film camera (a point-and-shoot) as a gift, and since then, she has been taking photos unconsciously. She began taking photos consciously in 2005, after graduating from university and purchasing her first DSLR camera on her own. She primarily focused on capturing her travels and everyday life at home.
Since 2009, she has been taking staged photographs, but she has not exhibited or demonstrated her work anywhere. Additionally, since 2009, she has worked as a designer and photographer at a furniture factory, participating in the development of catalogs and advertisements.
Since 2008, she has been living in Shatura, Moscow Oblast. From 2012 to 2018, she focused on raising her three children, defending her dissertation, and engaging in other professional activities.
Since 2020, she has taken several courses on the history of photography, cinema, and painting. She has studied the trends and features of various photo schools in Russia and hase been a member of various photography clubs, which has significantly expanded my understanding of photography. In 2023, she began actively following global trends and became interested in international photography competitions. In 2024, she started experimenting with film photography using the same Zorky camera that she used to take my first photographs in the 1990s.
In 2025, she began working in various techniques: collage, mixed techniques. Currently, she is more interested in observing everyday natural beauty in her art, and her desire to capture simple yet touching moments of life is similar to the idea of enjoying life in the present moment through pleasant details. However, she is also drawn to the deliberate staging necessary to convey meaning.
